I see some people hang chain in their QP cages, is this safe? Just concerned if I at work and Dixie at home.

Stainless steal or plastic chain is ok, as long as the link is small enough (or big enough!) that they do not get stuck in it when playing.

Yes itis Safe & they love to climb up them.Just check the sizes.Or what they also enjoy is the rope perches you can bend all around.I have some that run thought the cage & then out & to the top of it..When they are all out playing it looks like a 3 ring circus,lol.. wub.gif

Chain cheap, but book said be careful...

After the one and only time that Maxxx got a toe stuck...I'm determined to not have anything that isn't QP-safe. Loops and anchoring devices seem to be the one thing that the books say are contraindicated (not good).

I've been working with three braid rope that I can wind around an inner wire structure. The ends are secured and the braid is tightened by twisting before anchoring the loose end. The book said to fray the end for the QP to play with...OK....I didn't have to be neat about the end then. I'm still researching rope materials and coloring to see if there's a snag (like the zinc in wire mesh) to consider.

Thoughts?
