This is a grip type cloth thingy right? Where can I find some? I have read through this forum and decided I wanted to make something neat for my bird... I'm not so great building things but I can get my dad to show me what to do if I get confused.

Also: How do you get food bowls to stay onto perches and such that you build? Do you screw them in?

I saw some on e-bay but other than there I'm not sure where you get it...It has no glue and only sticks to it self.
I didn't know what it was either smile.gif

You can buy vetwrap at most petstores, I know that Petsmart carries it in the dog health section. You can also buy it at farm and fleet or horse type stores.

I don't know about the food dishes, but I'm sure someone else will come around soon with some suggestions.

Cool thanks; some of the stuff I have seen on here makes me want to build something smile.gif

You can also get vet wrap at most vet clinics if you can't find it at a pet store.

To mount dishes, you can drill holes through the perches and screw them on or use the dishes that have hooks on them and then screw eye hooks onto the perches. just be careful to use stainless steel hardware. I was recently surprised to find a lot of SS at Home Depot.

Stainless steel = for no rust right?
Carrie~Anne
Not only for the non-rust purposes, but also because of non-toxicity purposes. Regular metal hardware can be toxic to our birds.

Make sure to read the package. I have found sometimes when it says no rust it is covered with Zinc and you don't want Zinc!! So make sure it says stainless steel on the package.
