this past week i took my QP home with me for the holiday... but i accidently left his toys sad.gif i always keep one toy at my parents house just incase i do this (good thing too.) there are no petstores in the area so i decided to look around the house for something to make a toy with and i found a big hit! Q-Tips! i tied about 5 or 6 q-tips together with some hemp rope and hung it in manhattan's cage and he loved it! i had to make another one a few days ago because he pulled off all the cotton (he likes to roll it in little balls and then drops it) it was a great hit! and extreamly easy. its perfect for people like me that forget to pack toys blush.gif

Kiwi LOVES Q-tips. I made a toy for her and wove in Q-tips and her Krunch-a-round treats, along with some beads. She thought it was the best thing ever, and she's been a lot more adventurous with her toys since then.

LOL! Dobby hates Q-tips or maybe loves to hate is a better expression. If I hand him an entire container of Q-tips he bobs his head in excitement, screeches and then throws each and everyone of them on the floor.

This same technique works well for craft sticks, the little wooden 'popsicle' sticks. Paco always loses them thru the bottom of the cage, but tie them to a rope, and they make a great chew toy!
