Plus, I know how much all of you love pictures, so of course I wanted to share that too!! The wheel came from a hobby store, the rope from the pet shop (cotton rope). Less then $6 to make, and she just loves it. Anyway, hope you like it, and I inspire you all to try it

I think it was birch. I dont have the labels that came with it anymore.

I kinda thought that is what it is...just hard to tell in a pic..just wanted to make sure it is a safe wood cause I like the idea..
what Hobby store did you find that in??

I think i found it at "Hobby Lobby" but I dont know if that is just a mid-west chain or not. I believe I have seen them at Michaels as well like Andie's Mom said aswell.

What a neat idea....And yes we have a Hobby Lobby over on this side of the mountains...What is the circumference of the wheel...Of course the picture makes it look large.....Just wondering....You gave me an idea....I'll have to check out Hobby Lobby....

You are so creative! I would never have thought to turn that into a hanging gym. When we get our basement finished it will have a nautical theme, I will have to remember this for Ringo's space when we take him downstairs with us. Thanks for sharing the idea!!
