As some of you will remember, last May our forum experienced an unexpected outage where the site was down for most of the day. At that time, we discussed some sort of notification system if such an outage were to occur again.
I'm pleased to announce that we have created a newsletter that will be used for this purpose and also to send one or two short emails a month with some QP site and forum news and simply to touch base with our members.
If you would like to receive these emails, head over to the main QuakerParrots.com site, and you will find a sign-up form on the left side of the page.
No one will automatically be added to the list, so if you would like to receive the newsletter you must sign up for it. Also, I know some of you have already found the newsletter form and signed up - you are in the system and don't need to sign up again.
