There is a very nice bird shop in Missouri, called Varitees. They sell all kinds of birds, and cages and supplies. I believe it is in Fenton, MO. I have also seen their advertisement in Bird Talk magazine.

One of our new forum members is selling her Quaker (including a cage); she is in southeast Missouri. Good luck, and keep us posted! smile.gif

I have a quaker in the St. Louis area that I'm trying to find a new home for. I'm in Chesterfield which is actually farther than Varieties in Fenton. This is where I purchased my bird smile.gif

There are two choices for bird shops in MO.There is varitees (which is actually in Chesterfield, on manchester road) There is also a place called birdcage wharehouse on 94 in St.charles.Both stores have lots of birds whom are well cared for as well as socialized.I have not been to varitess in awhile but the last time I was in birdcage wharehouse they had 2 baby blue quakers smile.gif I can find both numbers for you if you want, pm me and I will hunt those phone numbers down for you.

I have a 2 year old male green quaker parrot in need of a loving, patient, parrot experienced home. He has a large vocabulary and picks up words and sentences easily. He's healthy and has been kept up to date with all his vet visits. I will be willing to adopt out Ripley free to a loving and experienced home. Unfortunately, I cannot just give his cage away, as it cost me $450.00 and is very nice and large. Although it's not a necessity, I feel that it's important to keep Ripley with his cage to minimize stress and help him to adapt to a new environment. I am willing to sacrifice the cage for $275.00. Considering Ripley cost $175.00, the cage cost $450.00, plus all of his toys, I feel this is quite a bargain price for anyone who may be interested in adding to their family. I have pictures of Ripley and his cage upon request. I will NOT ship but may be willing to meet if at a reasonable distance. USA residents only! Please contact me with any questions and for more info. at: justbecausedaygifts@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Michelle

As I mentioned in a different thread, there are two adults here in STL that are in need of a rehome. Adoption fees are very affordable and fair, and both owners seem to be responsible. PM me for more info.
