Horatio hates the new change to daylight saving time. At night he sits in his covered cage and shouts at us for going to bed an hour early and in the morning it is like waking the dead. I don't like it much either, we live too far north for daylight saving time in March, it is just too dark in the morning!

My griping aside we were wondering if Horatio will take a while to get used to the change? The funny thing is we don't remember him noticing it before when it changed. He is 2 years old so he has seen this before. This time seems to have had a larger effect, I just wonder if it is because it is earlier in the year and the daylight amounts are different?

Well... I don't cover and I wake up and go to bed and rather random times anyway, so I don't think so. It's like waking the dead to get me up any morning so the alarm goes off BEEP BEEP BEEP, I smack it, turn on the light... zzzzz.... then it goes off again BEEP BEEP BEEP, I grumble, Gabe chirps a little, I smack it... zzzz.... BEEP BEEP BEEP ok- fine, I'm up! Hi birdie... let's go take a shower.

I have found it hasn't affected Zipper at at. She goes to bed just after the sun goes down about 8 and gets up at the same time in the morning. I am however curious to see what time she goes to bed when the daylight stays until about 9 pm

I agree Horatio! We are definitely too far north for this change in March. I was so happy last week when the sun was up for me to eat breakfast and now... pitch black! Should have left it the way it was!

mine havent adjusted yet they used to get up and flock call at 7 now they are doing it at 8 and at night it seems ok tho they like going to bed.
