Errr I'm kinda frantic here.... I was doing some work at my desk and Peaz was on and off my shoulder and on the desk and what not- I was watching him, not closely enough I guess, bc when I put him back on my shoulder this last time, he started mouthing my shirt and it was black or blue or something. I pried open his beak and it looks like he got ahold of an ink pen. I took him to the tub and washed off what i could and tried to rinse his little mouth out. If he only got a little in his mouth, how toxic is it? What else should I do? I can't find whatever it is he got ahold of, but I'm thinking it was a pen, though I didn't see it happen. I feel horrible! ohmy.gif

Morgan did that one time. I washed his little beak as good as I could. He was fine. Just keep an eye on him, he probably just bit through it but if he starts acting different get him to a vet or at least call one.

If you don't think he ingested it and your pretty sure you got it all out of his beak, then just keep an eye on him. If you think he ingested it then I would take him to the vet. Call one anyway and let them tell you the next step.
