Yes. The stuff parents let their kids get away with nowadays. Out till all hours, provocative clothes, watching inappropriate TV shows and movies.....just shocking to me in many ways.


Do you believe in a parents right to administer corporal punishment?

I think RESPONSIBLE parents...not loose cannons...should have the right to parent and use some forms of corporal punishment. I personally don't advocate it, but I really have a problem with the attitude that some children have taken that they can get away with alot based on the fact that not much can happen to them in return. I think the fear that we had as children, knowing that our parents could slap us in to next week if we did what some children do now (even if they never laid a hand on us)...just the fear..kept us in line.

If you could change your name what would you pick?

I have a real unusual first name and I grew up hating it because ppl made alot of fun of me and now I realize how hard it is for children to go thru the formative years with freakish names so I wouldnt bestow such things on any kid yet as an adult I guess I would now prefer a fun name maybe calypso just because I like how it is pronounced and cally for short lol either that or just pick one initial out of the alphabet so that when I sign contracts I dont get writers cramp so much.

Alot has been said about people whose lives are not easy in the sense that it makes them stronger better people. Do you think if given the choice they would prefer to be among the ranks of the priveledged whose lives are so much easier due to not worrying about financial woes or every day strife? I used to host gala parties with cardboard cut outs of the beautiful people and alcoholic beverage displays (huge plastic beer and wine bottles etc) in the woods after raiding the liquor stores trash cans.

Define 'others'. If by others you mean my children, nope. If by others you mean other people who can fend for themselves...yes, lots of times, as my children come first.

Currently there are 30 plus wars raging around the planet virtually all between factions within states and dozens of more localized conflicts.
These conflicts cause millions of casualties, as well as social and economic disruptions that threaten food supplies, health, local environments and political stability.

What's the one thing you would bring with you to a deserted island? A huge boat so I could go back to the mainland and get all my essentials yes bay bee I am bringning the kitchen sink!

Yes. And not a very nice one!

I dream that I'm standing by my car, with a dead child lying in a pool of blood in front of it. The phrase "She just ran out in front of me" is not helping the mother overcome her anguish even the slightest bit. As a consequence of this nightmare, I am a very careful driver in town!

The saddest so far I have ever been was when the doctors decided to cut life support from my mother. The finality of it all sunk in and I felt so helpless and for the first time in forevers I felt so alone in the world.

I would rid the world of poverty, starvation........... and taxes (lol, sorry couldn't resist that one)

No. But in Rhodesia I've had putsi fly. That's a certain kind of fly that lays it's eggs on the wet washing hanging out on the line to dry. If you don't iron the clothes, which kills the eggs, the larvae hatch out and burrow into your skin. After developing for several weeks, the maggots eat their way out of your skin and crawl off to pupate. Painful!
