My hobbies I suppose or spend time with my hubby. Usually craft with my fid on my shoulder. I like to sew and do bead work. Cooking and gardening are my other hobbies.

Errrr.... parrots, parrots and parrot rescue.


What's the biggest parrot you've ever handled?

Blue & gold mccaw I suppose. His name was Sarge. He lived at the pet shop and I remember we used to play tickle tickle, he's lay on his back and I'd tickle his feet then he'd grab onto his linked toy and I'd pick him up and he'd say "weee" omg that bird was SUCH a HOOT! I miss him someone finally purchased him after he had been there nearly 3 years. I was so happy he found a forever home! (sorry long story)

How many fids do you currently own? And do you have any other pets besides the feathered friends?

I currently only own one bird. My quaker. I would like to get another different kind of bird though sometime. No i dont have any other pets besides my fid. I used to have a fish named hercules but i had to give him away a few months ago when i moved.

No! I'd love to, there used to be that sort of thing in FL! My ex promised me we'd go for one of my birthdays but never did...guess that is one of the MANY reasons he is an ex

What did you really want to be when you were younger? What was your response to "what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Honestly, when i was younger since i love animals i always wanted to become a marine biologist when i grew up. I soo badly wanted to work with whales and dolphins and stuff like that. Still do but i got older and went a totally different direction.

If you could change one part and ONE part only on your body to look different/better, what would it be and why???

My tummy!!! I love my hips and thighs but I want a flat tummy!! Why? Because it's podgy! I've never had kids and it looks like I've got a momma's belly

Man.. i have soo many fav places to eat at that its hard to choose just one. hmm... well i do really like this greek restaurant close to my house called socrates. Ummm ummm good food. I go there all the time.

Whats the most scarriest/freakiest thing that has ever happened to you?

I had a dream about the lady that died in the house that I rented. I described the lady to my mom and grandmother and they said it was her.I had never seen the lady or her picture.

I was home alone and my mom used to have mirrors all over the house. The one in the living room you could look into and see the hallway. Well I looked up and realized I left the hallway light on. When I went to get up and turn it off it was already OFF!! I was home alone I flipped the switch and the lights came on, so they didn't blow. Still gives me the chills!

What is the best thing(s) that has happend to you?

getting married and having 2 kids

What is the worst thing that happened to you

The loss of my father, and then this year...my grandmother. What makes it even worse was I had recently moved so I couldn't afford to be with her when she passed away, and I never got to say goodbye. Very very emotional moment for me.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would you go?

Africa

If you could move any where you wanted where would it be

Location wise? Probably somewhere out west but DH would kill me he wants to be by the ocean. So maybe compromise and move to South Carolina or something so I can be closer to my family, away from MA!, and still near the shore

What would you wish for

Well I stopped smoking one day I just put them down...and once I was in that mind set it really wasn't as hard as MY MIND made it out to be all along. When they say it's all in your head they mean it! Good luck to you on that.

My 3 would be for:
DH to stop smoking
A bigger cage for Maj
A job promotion or a nice raise doesn't matter which to me!

A bushbaby, as far as I can remember.



I was just a kid and we were living in Zambia at the time. For the record, bushbabies make lousy pets! They are nocturnal, so you never see them during the day and at night they make a racket and poop everywhere. (Hmmm... sounds like a nocturnal parrot! )

We didn't keep it for long. My Mother put her foot down, so my Father released it back into the wild. Had I known then what I know now, I would have objected strongly to his bringing home such an exotic animal that needed such specialist care!
