I shall absolutely NOT give you any advice on the clipping of wings - at least, not unless you allow me to hack off your legs at he knee with a chainsaw "for your own safety" - but claws are easy: just wrap the fid in a towel. Just make sure you have cornflour on hand to stop any bleeding that may occur.

As long as the US Govt includes some restrictions on the excesses of the financial institutions and regulation to ensure that disasters such as the sub-prime crisis can't happen again, I think it's a good idea. The alternative is financial free-fall on a global scale and a recession worse than the Great Depression. People will lose their jobs, their homes, everything! Compare that with the prospect of siphoning off a few of your tax dollars...

Seriously, I went one year as a paparazzi. Just hit the junk store and pick up a bunch of old film cameras with a flash(super cheap these days). Slap in some batteries, string em around your neck and put on some cheesy clothes or a disguise(I brought a 5 foot fake plant to hide behind), and snap away. It's fun blinding people too!
