Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi. There was a severe drought at the time, so there was no water. Once every two hours, fire crews went round with the fire hoses to "flush" the toilets... It stank!

Yes sort of, I took custody of one of my second grade students whose mother died in a car wreck and he had no other family. He lived with me for 9 months. A very difficult time...

Have you ever had a car wreck?

Yes .. almost lost my leg, AND my life, 7 years ago....thanks to a wonderful orthopedic surgeon, my leg is still attached and it works pretty much!


Ever had to use a wheelchair for any length of time? What was your impression of the experience?

No but I tried to do a wheelie in one once and fell over backward and cracked my head. Explains a lot doesn't it.

Yes... it's legible but looks like a first grader wrote it!
