I see my front yard. Lots of pine trees on one side and my grass that needs to be cut on the other. Sometimes the horses if they've wandered over to eat.

I cant post any of the mean things I did so I will post a weird thing I did once...raided the local liquor stores trash cans and hauled all the cardboard cut outs of 'the beautiful people' in their ball gowns and tuxedos drinking martinis etc as well as plastic display bottles some of which were as tall as I was to a glen in the woods near our house and carefully set all of it up and pretended to have a party! Ah to be sweet and innocent again.

Yes ... my late MIL's house had a ghost ... we would all be in the living room and hear someone walking across the kitchen ... the floor squeaked !! Talk about freaky!!! Her ghost took her keys once and they couldn't find them for a couple weeks ... they finally showed up ON THE KITCHEN TABLE IN PLAIN SIGHT!!! Spppoooookkkkyyyyy!!!

No thank God! I saw what Katrina did to the Gulf Coast when I went down there last year, and it just made me soooo sad ... still does to think it still hasn't recovered - an it may NEVER recover completely.

A HUGE aviary.

It would be connected by walkways to the house, so that the birds could choose to be in the house with us or outside in the aviary.

As a teen and young twenty-something it was almost down to my waist. I recently grew it out so I could donate to Locks of Love and had to have 10 inches to cut...I couldnt stand it anymore so I JUST made the 10 inches before I ran in screaming saying "cut it off cut if off!!" LOL

That's an interesting mental image!

Not necessarily strange, but a recurring dream. I'm standing at the side of the road next to my car, looking down at the bloody body of a child I have just run over and killed. The Mother, naturally, is deriving little comfort form my saying "She just ran out in front of me...".

It keeps me from taking risks when I'm behind the wheel and I'm, always a cautious driver in town. Out on the open road though...

I'd love to SEE Everest...I absolutely LOVE the mountains, but there's no way I'd climb that thing.......I'm afraid of heights........hmmmmm and yet I love to FLY!! go figure
when I think Tibet, I think Dali Lama and all these little monks running around in their bathrobes .... If I want to see thngs like that, all I have to do is go to work (I work in a psychiatric hospital lol)

Are you planning an international trip/vacation in the next year or so??

At some stage soon, we're going to have to get over to Sweden to see some relatives, but organising lodgings for the Quark Flock is going to be tricky! Or most of the Quark Flock, at last – we want to take Ndhlovu with us.

How are you today?

Health-wise pretty good - rib is feeling mUCH better, although still hurts and I still live infear of a good healthy sneeze

Spirit-wise also pretty good - God has been good to me and I count my blessings every day

Family-wise also good, seeing kids this weekend and seeing extended family at a reunion also - news of nephew coming home fom Iraq in October so that is a relief also

Money-wise - so-so (bills are paid tho so I guess I should say good) I am waiting to find out how much it will cost for the repairs on the scoot - once that is back on the road will be GREAT !!
