I'm very proud of my farts and always own up to them! Besides, they are usually monumental sphincter-rippers that affect the way I walk for an hour afterwards, so concealment is not an option. (Just don't get a Brit started on toilet humour... )

Generally I would say no it's not polite. But having a house full of guys (Tommy and his friends) all the time I tend to take it as a compliment since they're going to anyway.

When company show up unexpectadly do are you glad to see them or annoyed?

Depends on the company as a rule people tend to not make the effort to drive all the way out to my place in the event that I might not be home. Sometimes I have neighbors drop in which can be cool but when they are dropping in because they want something from me or want to sell me some rubbish like tupperware, avon make up, or any of the other stuff ppl get sucked into selling it does annoy me.
