Well, dispite my many many rants about no more fids of any shape or form..we now have Lucy, a 5 year Umbrella Cockatoo. She was a rehome. The guy who owned her prior to us got married and Lucy hated the woman. Would scream and bite. We fell in love with her i think instantly. Have had her for about a month now. My Quaker, Nibbler, is still very jealous of me spending time with her. Our Ekkie, Diez, could care less about her one way or the other. Lucy has a huge vocabulary. After a month she still surprises me with things she'll say. We bought a tether for her and SHE LOVES IT. We keep her on a pretty strict schedule right now..so she can get used to how the household works. She's a doll to us though..a little cuddle bug. Then there is Nibbler. He is a pretty quiet quaker, as quakers go. When Lucy is in her cage playing and making noise he yells at her.
