HI ALL,
I HAVE HAD THIS NEW 6 YR OLD QUAKER, GRACIE FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW. SHE IS AMAZING. YOU KNOW ALEX THE FAMOUS GREY? WELL I THINK SHE'S THE ALEX OF THE QUAKER WORLD! THESE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS SHE'S SAID, SO FAR.
GOOD NIGHT, NITE NITE, SEE YA, WHERE'S THE BEAK? GIMME THAT BEAK, HAVE TO GO POOPY, OOPS, NOT NOW, I'M THINKIN ABOUT IT, TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE, PRETTY BIRD, AWWWW SUCH A GOOOOOD BIRD, WANNA COME OUT, WANNA GO BYE BYE?, GIMME KISS-KISS KISS, WHERE'S THE KITTY CAT?, HERE KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTEY, HEY BABY, WATCHA DOIN?, THANK YOU-(WHEN SHE GETS A TREAT), WHERE'S THE BABY, HI BABY, DON'T BE SCARED-(SHE WHISPERS THIS), RYLIE NOOOO!! (RYLIE IS THE FRESH WHIPPET)

THESE WORDS AND PHRASES ARE SAID VERY CLEARLY, ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE'S SAYING. ALSO, NOT SAID JUST ONCE, SHE REPEATS OVER AND OVER, AND SEEMS TO SAY SOMETHING NEW PRACTICALLY EVERY DAY.

SHE IS ALSO ABSOLLUTELY FEARLESS. SHE BOSSES AROUND QUINCY, MY 12 YR OLD QUAKER. I JUST GOT A 5 YR OLD MEYERS PARROT. GRACIE IMEDIATLY GOT ON HIS CAGE AND STRUTTED AROUND SAYING HI HI HI HI.... HI BABY!!

QUINCY, WHO NORMALY SAYS ABOUT 5 DIFFERENT THINGS, HAS ALREADY PICKED UP A FEW OF HER WORDS. THE NEW MEYERS WAS IN HIS FORMER HOME FOR 5 YRS, SINCE HE WAS A BABY. HE WAS NEVER NEAR OTHER BIRDS, AND SUPPOSEDLY DOESN'T TALK, BUT DOES IMITATE SOUNDS LIKE THE DOORBELL, THE PHONE ETC. WELL, HE SEEMS VERY INTERESTED IN GRACIE, AND ALREADY SAID SOMETHING THAT SOUNDED SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE HI HI HI!

HOPE I DIDN'T BORE YOU TOO MUCH. I JUST LOVE THESE LITTLE GUYS!

You can NEVER bore US with bird stories, Jesse! The more the better! Amd yes, they are absolutely totally smashing wonderful heartbreaking little miracles with wings. And they're all different, too, and you got yourself a nice little new "package" there, wow!
