well, hes finally here... and still doesnt have a name..
hes doind soo great.. it was a 2 hour ride home, and most of the way he just hung out and made noises, then went into his box and took a nap.. when we got home i put him in his cage with his new food.. i was worried about him eating, because the breeder forgot to bring a bag of his usual stuff.. but it hasnt been a problem... hes ate alot and drank some too.. been running around exploring his cage, and has been doing alot of preening.. ill post pictures soon..

Oh, that parront paranoia. It can drive you right up the wall sometimes.

I'm sure he's fine. He just needs to rest and think about his new home. He may (or may not) even be quiet for a day or so while he settles in.

The "general" rule is; if you plan to cover him regularly, you should start right away. If there's any chance he might catch a draft, I would definitely cover him. I think it also makes them feel more secure.

im so thankful that i have a place like this that i can come and ask all my paranoid questions.. i feel alot better after hearing all the responses.. but i know im not going to sleep very well tonight, im gonna be up worrying about the little guy....i just wish he'd go in his happy hut or something that would be more comfortable...
oh yeah. about those parrot water bottles.. are they the same ones as the ones for gerbils? or are they totally different? cause the only ones i can find around here are the ones for gerbils...
