Usually at 1 or 2 days the parents will feed them about every 2 hours so their crops will be pretty full when ever you look at them...it might look as though its bubbled up on to their shoulders and there's just a small area where the neck bone is that will look flat...Or it might not be that full... I know with my little finch when its crop was full the first few days its crop was bigger than its head...but that probably won't be the case with the quaker. Hopefully, Cheri or Andie will be by soon to give you a better idea...
