I've noticed today that Georgie is really laying on the quacking. Yes, I said quack, not quake.

She's quacked all day long.

Anyone else has a quacking quaker?

Yes, I know what you mean.. I have had mine for 17 years, and boy, they can scream, quack, do the "Ack Ack thing", etc..

What I do is squirt him with water, and he stops... I mainly spray his wings cause then they will spend time trying to get it off..LOL

You can talk to them too... They like sooo much attention, and are drama queens...

Shah quacks. Is this normal quaker noise cos he has never even seen a duck? I make a game of it where I incorporate other sounds after the quacking and he mimics these as well. I do notice that the quacking comes about when he is really happy - he just bursts forth with quacking. I quite enjoy having a quacking quaker.

I do too. I find it so funny. I always ask her if she wishes she was a duck.

Since moving her to the kitchen where she gets more sun, she's been alot happier and chirpy.....or should I say quacky.

Peri is also a quacker. After a while, we realized that his "quacking" was actually him trying to talk. Most of his words sound like Donald Duck is saying them.

LOL Our Quaker quacks too, I think it's really funny. I almost named him "Duckie". Jan is right, they seem to quack when they're happy. It's amazing how many noises our little green monster can make.

Isabelle "honks" like a goose! She picked this up from a noise one of our dogs' toys makes! Too funny!

Funny you mentioned honking Frankie's mom.....my hubby made a comment that we are going to take Georgie in to see a shrink if she starts honking like a goose.
