[color=#000000][b]My name is Terry. I am married with 4 kids,3 hamsters, and 1 Quaker parrot. My wife has owned quakers in the past, but I never have. Untill now. My wife, Melissa, went in the pet store to buy our 4th hamster and saw petrie. Hopefully he will be with us for a long time. We fell in love almost instantly. I will always be a parrot owner. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new addition!!! Quakers are great little parrots. One of my favorites One book that keeps getting recommended around here is Guide to The Quaker Parrot by Mattie Sue Athan. It can be found for around 10 to 15 dollars and is a great investment.

Thanks for the welcome. In my first post, I forgot a member of the family. We have a blue beta named Goldie. He belongs to my 3 year old daughter, Savannah. The fish actually comes to her. Its all we can do to keep her from holding again.
