Right before I got her, Tilly laid her first clutch of eggs and molted. Now she is plucking, the first few days I thought it might be nerves from the move and losing her Lovebird boyfriend. She is still doing it, it's her chest and even some on her legs, I talked to the girl I got her from and she says it's because she took the eggs away.

I'm worried about her, and now today whenever I go to pet her she runs into the cage!!! Any ideas?

I suggest a vet visit to rule out any health issues. If there are no health issues than you can move onto behavioral issues.
In the meantime, offer lots of baths (I have a plucker and give her a bath on a daily basis which seems to help), preening toys and distractions. Try not to make a big deal out of the plucking...meaning when she does it, just ignore it and try to distract her attention elsewhere. Try to insure that she is getting lots of outside cage time...this doesn't have to be time spent right on top of you, but time on her cage. If you don't have toys set up on the outside of her cage, then I suggest you do that so she can play happily up there.

There aren't any health issues, I've checked for that. She is out of her cage for at least 8 hours a day if not more. She plays with Wickett, has toys and even though she refuses to bathe in the bathing dish, she takes a bath in her water bowl almost nightly. I do mist her every morning, and at this point she wants nothing to do with being held but she will let me pet her for hours, I'm working on teaching her step up. Apparently the previous owners didn't know much, because I was told they were both cage aggressive, she'll grab a hold of the bars with her beak and feet and hang on for dear life before she'll let you pick her up, but she doesn't bite.

oh that poor baby! Even if she doesn't feel safe coming out please talk to her....my stressed rescued baby was like this and still sometimes is! Just talk sweet to her and give her patience and lots of love. Mine does not pluck anymore but sometimes does not feel comfortable coming out of his cage. I put his cage next to my bed so even when he didn't feel like coming out I could still talk to him...I noticed a huge difference after doing this! I am the only one he allows to hold him and he is my sweet baby...I absolutely LOVE this bird! Just give her time...it's well worth the wait!
