Hi,

I've just signed up. I am Scottish but live in NS, Canada. At the moment I am looking into several species of bird to find the right match - it'll be months, maybe up to a year before I am finally ready for one of my own!

Welcome... I sure hope we can help you make up your mind.. there are a lot of people here who know a lot about quakers as well as other birds...I have a quaker .. who has a mind of her own but I don't know a lot about them myself.. still learning.. also have a tiel and an alexandrine parakeet..I'm still learning about them all..and don't feel comfortable giving any advise to anyone yet so I will let some one else do all the talking.. vicki and Jade
