I do sometimes! My husband put a depoist down for me to get a baby grey and I got my depoist back because I have decided I just don't want any more birds unless they are a breeding pair. With all my other aniamls outside I just don't have time for any more birds right now.Plus when I start to breed greys I will keep one of my babies.

when I joined this forum over 2 yrs ago, I only had one FID, that was Kiwi my quaker, but.......Gail, Paco's Mom fixed it for me....LOL.....Less then 3 months later I brought home my little chit, Gidget, my green cheek conure. So yep, I got MBS, but I am stopping now. The two of them give me such great joy.

I have it too. Started with Lonesome who is a ringneck dove. She came to live with us a little over a year ago. The came Quackers who was a quaker parrot...fly free little buddy. Then this year, we decided on a couple of parakeets for myself and my son. While talking to a friend of mine at the pet store where the keets came from, I found out she had 3 ringnecks and wanted to find a home for one of them. She brought all 3 over and Lonesome (turned out to be a female) found a mate. The other two went back home. Income tax came in and hubby says he wants me to take a bit and do what ever I want with it. I head to the bird store and bring home another quaker parrot. So lonesome and Ollie waste no time getting to know one another (if ya know what I mean). Long story short, we know have Rhythm and Rayne (1 month old ringnecks). Being prolific breeders there are two more eggs in the nest and one is in the pipping stage.
In short, I have 7 birds and two more on the way. Anybody want a couple of ringnecks?

MBS is a killer here. I started out with Raja I had him for a year and a half then I had to have a quaker. Then when Andie needed to rehome Sidney I needed him so bad. Well now I've been thinking about getting a green cheek conure. Hubby wants an african grey, Kinsey wants a blue quaker and Brett wants a puppy. So there ya have it.
MBS in a nutshell
I don't think there is a cure for MBS but it can be managed!
In my case it is Ian who brings me back down to earth .. He is a
paralysis by analysis type person which is a good thing when dealing with MBS.
He takes a step back and reminds me that until they can put more then 24 hours in a day or we no longer require sleep, that we just don't have the time to add to our flock!
