Hello, I am sorry to hear of your experience. I belong to a bird club/rescue and we just put on a bird fair, the vendors were great, my only concern is the club/rescue allowing the sale of birds, especially the bigger ones (M2s for example) that will most likely end up in a rescue or abused when it begins screaming and the owner does not have the time to work with it & treat it like a family member not a decoraton. Getting back to the fair, there was a fantastic variety of toys, toy making things, cages, stands etc... The raffels were great, the prizes were really nice (I won a great cage filled with toys, food, treats & more, my quaker loves his new home), also the prices for toys, food, treats etc... were very reasonable. The best part about it was the money raised to go toward rescuing more feathered friends in need of love.

Gosh, a bird fair sounds great. Why haven't I heard of any here in Texas?

There is a bird fair going on in the lovely city of stillwater mn this coming Saturday. I am still debating whether to go to it or not. Given I am not in the market for more birds I would like to see what else there is to them although I have already seen a list of breeders that plan on attending as well as some rescue groups I still have yet to see what vendors will be there.
