I've noticed when Buddy is loving me scatching his head he makes the sound like He's purring... Its just one of the things I really enjoy with these birds. They Love to be Loved

I've had my Quaker for about 2 months and was totally enchanted by this purring noise, so much so that I call her my 'pussycat bird'. It's definitely one of the cutest things about them!
