There's a breeder in Ocala, FL that has yellow (lutino) quakers for $8,000. They're gorgeous!

ok that's crazy.. he looks just like my saphirra who has a white face and belly.. she is an ice blue and I only paid (if I remember correctly) like $700 for her. The coloring is almost EXACTLY the same

Wow, he's beautiful!

I really like how the wings are darker underneath.

$3000 is a little steep for me though!

... I love my little green chicken!

Beautiful but $3000??? I Don't Think So! For 3K I could book a cruise for hubby and me and pay for Gypsy's field trip to the vet. I spose we all have our priorities

He is quite the beauty, but no way I'd shell out 3 grand for a green chicken in disguise

He is really pretty. No way for 3.
You know I really love the greens-they Pop. I saw a blue in the pet shop-Pretty. But to me a green is how God wanted them and when well taken care of they just really POP. JMO. DOn't get me worng if someone gave me one-I take it-but I'd take any animal.

I went onto the rarequaker.com site and they certainly do have some beauties! There was also a link on the site for a czech site with additional quaker mutations. Very interesting to see!

He sure is pretty, but I could never afford him. I am sure my little green devil has just as much personality, but at a discounted rate. I only paid $170 and got a lot of bird in that little package

I know what you mean. I went back on that site yesterday and they had sold those QP's, you have to get on a waiting list...can you imagine that? Wow!
