The pionus-Chachi -I love him. But he's no quaker-
Now I just have to tell my hubby- That we'll have two birds in the house. It's not like he cleans up after them-but the again do I want to hear his mouth about the mess. He makes more of a mess then the bird and our boy does. Leaves his clothes on the floor,tooth paste worms in the sink, razor stubble on the sink too,glasses all over the palce.

Congrats! We found that same thing out when we got our senegal after Nemo died. We just missed that quaker personality, so we got Bogart. Bogart is very different from Nemo, but he has that quakerness about him. Since they are so different that made it easier to adjust to him and I didn't feel like I was "replacing" Nemo, even though I knew I could never replace my baby bird!
I think its better with 2 birds. When you are not at home they have a buddy to talk to. Just my opinion though.
