I'm not sure if there is a connection or not - but Bubba seems to have a runny nose on just one side dry.gif It's not real wet or crusty - just open and wet looking. This seems to have started when he began eating a lot of zuccini. Does that have a lot of salt in it - or something that may cause this? I'm cutting down his eating of it - but he loves it sad.gif and I hate not letting him enjoy it. OR could it be something else - there is no sneezing associated with this. Should I call the vet - I'm a bit worried about it. unsure.gif

I give Kiwi and Gidget zuchinni and haven't had problems like that. I think I would take him to the Vet just to be safe...

Ditto- I think it's vet time. That could be some kind of respiratory infection.

I wanted to ask is it only wet when she eats the zucchini perhaps the moisture from the zucchini is getting on her face or does she seem to have it all the time?
If its all the time I would take her to the vet. If its only when she eats zucchini she is a messy eater.

It's really sporadic and only in the morning. Not when Bubba is eating anything. It's only the one side, not both and doesn't appear during the day either? blush.gif

My Zoey used to have a runny nose and sneezing all the time when I first got her. She had been checked, rechecked and checked again and nothing found. It's gotten better over the last 2 years and hardly happens anymore. It was determined it's most likely allergies and she's either building up a better immune system and fighting it or whatever it is she's allergic to is not in my home anymore or rarely.
I clean houses and one day I wasn't thinking and walked in the bird room without changing clothes first. Zoey started sneezing and I swear it got red around her nostrils and her eyes bugged out. I ran out of the room and it stopped. I changed clothes and then she was fine. I had been using Fantastik that day on someones counter which I never use and it must have been the back spray on my shirt.
I don't allow anyone to wear cologn in my home and we're so very careful about anything used around our house. I don't use shampoos with strong scents or soaps that are purfumed. I'm a bear about stuff like that in my home.
I would have your baby checked by a vet just to be sure. Best of luck figuring it out

p.s. Sorry I can't answer a post without writing a book. I do have a friend that calls me BB which is short for babble box.
