I neglected to take one of my regular cage covers with me on one road trip with Maxxx. It was cool and I figured that he'd be more comfortable without all the breeze. I grabbed one of the extra T-shirts that I carry and stretched it over the 'keet cage he travels in. It was funny watching him peer out of the neck hole that I positioned so he could look forward. From his reaction, he liked it.

He munched the collar a little, so the shirt became his. I pulled it over the 'tiel cage that he sleep in and that has become a real hit for him. It is so funny to see him climb up to his happyhut and say "ni-night".

Anybody have reactions on this?

Very novel and creative way to find a suitable substitute. My shirts wouldn't cover a cage. A tall, skinny Budgie cage maybe. blush.gif

I have a friend that uses T-shirts as seed catchers biggrin.gif She cuts the top part of an X-large T-shirt off and then pulls it over the cage, down to the bottom. Works great for her!

Ron, it doesn't have to be YOUR shirt...You could go steal a few from your neighbors clothes line wink.gif or you could go to a Wally World or a Target or what ever retail store you have in your neck of the woods and Get BIG shirt that are on sale...If you wanted to do something like that...

Which by the way was very creative thinking and good use of materials on hand!
