Congrats!! Hubby fell in love with a Goffins at a bird fair last month. We didn't get it though. They are beautiful birds. We need details though. How did you find him? How long have you been planning this without letting us know? We need to know his whole life story.

Well I have always wanted a cockatoo ever since I met Michael (umbrella cockatoo) at my neighbors friends house...he was so cool and so lovable..he would spread his wings on my shoulder as to give me a hug....then we rehomed our CAG and he took to my husband so I was disappointed...well I answered a ad in the local paper as a "Goffin Cockatoo must be sold due to health reason"...This lady had Post dramtic syndrome, was on disaability due to it, and would black out alot and had real bad days..she couldnt walk half the time being dizzy and all, so he doctor bedrid her.and she had vertigo real bad too..Im sure Shequora can relate to this....therefore she couldnt take care of Rocky as she wanted to so she had to sell him...I went to go visit Rocky and fell in love with hiim...he is always playing "Catch it" where he would hide his head under his opposite wing and drop his food and say "catch it" and he catchs it...hes adorable..

when I left the house and took Rocky with me the lady walked me to the truck...she gave Rocky a kiss goodbye and said, "Rocky, Michele is gona take better care of you than mommy can" and cried...so sad when you have to rehome your birds...I hope I dont have to go thru it...

anyways thats how I got Rocky...

We have a rehomed Goffin and she is constantly making us laugh. She dances and just recently started doing walk over back flips.
If Rocky is anything like Isabella Pretty Girl, that paper toy will be a pile of confetti in less than a day

He is so cute!!! There was a lady yesterday at the place where i found my little quaker guy visiting her baby cockatoo. He was just about weaned and like 3 months old. He was loving all over her. It was the cutest thing. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
