Hello, I had a quaker a good while ago & had to find a new home for him due to my becoming sick. I am better now & looking for another one. I was disappointed at the Bird Show in Columbia, S.C. yesterday where they had none for sale. Does anyone know where I can buy a male Quaker for around $100? I have his cage & did buy him a new toy yesterday. I say a male because I have heard they talk better. I don't know if my Nikki was male or female, but he/she talked up a storm. I miss him so much & am really anxious to get another one. One pet shop about an hour away from me said she had some 8 months old, but some would bite & some of the others may could be tamed. I was a little afraid of getting one of those. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me in finding my 'Kirby'. I even have his name. I'm just waiting to find him!!
