hi all i am new here and just wanted to say hi. i just got my little guy yeasterday. he is 1 year old. and relly calm. but he dosnt understand step up yet and trys to fly away sometimes. not much of a talker ether. but i am sure he is just going to need time to settle in. here are pics of him being held by my wife.

Fid means "feathered kid" here in these parts. Your little dude is adorable. You will find SO much great information and advice here! I think general opinion around these parts is that a pellet diet is super-good for the birdies. I had to convert my guy from seeds to pellets when we brought him home-- took awhile but we managed it! I'm sure you will love having him-- does he have a name yet or are you still deciding? He will get settled and then start making some noise to keep you company I am sure!

hi all thanks for the warm welcome. his name is Rascal. he still is not wanting to have interaction. i bought him some toys today and he loves his spinning mirror. and after talking to the store i got him from the owner got his papers for the aviary he came from and he is not 1 year old he is only 9 months.
