Okay, since a couple people have been asking about my siggy I think I should finally get around to an introduction!

A week and a half ago we adopted Gaston (I know, funny name, you either love it or hate it!), a 1.5 year old Coton de Tulear. His previous owners were retired and wanting to relax and a new puppy was just too much for them. So we adopted him. Once he gets to know you he is a real sweetie. He wasn't socialized a lot, but with our crazy hectic house, he is quickly learning to have fun with everyone. He always wants to be with someone, he is basically attached at someone's heel! He is a real cuddler too, sitting beside you just won't do, he has to be on top!

He has a couple of quirks... when he first meets you he grabs your finger gently and tries to get your attention, we find it cute, but some 'non-dog' people don't really enjoy it! He also needs a lot of grooming or else he mats up, but he hates getting his feet combed, and completely freaks out, so we are working on that too... or just leave it for the groomer!
He was groomed the week before we got him, so his coat is shorter than Kippers.

It's a great breed of dog, I would highly recommend it to everyone!

I kind of like the name Gaston...like the candle stick dude in Beauty and the beast...right?

They look like great dogs...Does Kipper like his new brother or is his nose a little bent out of shape?

Connie!!!!!!! You're too funny!! I would love to have a boxer (will one day when I get a house with a nice big yard...lol). My aunt breeds them and it is all I can do to leave her place without sneaking a few of her dogs.

Kipper is our 'little old man'... doesn't really like to play around with other dogs, he just likes his mamma and playing soccer in the back with the kids. They have played once in the last week and a half, but he doesn't seem to mind him as you can see in the pic, they will lie together. Gaston on the other hand is always wanting to play, but knows not to bother little Kippee!

Everyone says the Gaston from the Beauty and the Beast, but his previous owners just wanted a french name for a french dog and they thought Gaston was cute.

If you were closer, it would be fun to have all the dogs play together!
