Tequila's poo has been really runny on and off for the last 3 days or so. Sometimes she will have a normal poop and then she will have 2 or 3 runny ones and so on. The runny ones seem to be mostly urates. I am not feeding her anything different and she is acting totally normal otherwise. However it is really smelly..I am changing her paper every 2-3 days as opposed to once a week. Should I worry? Someone mentioned egg binding and now of course I am freaking.. unsure.gif

Advice please??
Quincy's Slave
Usually if Quincy has runny pooh for a few days, he has a bacterial infection. If it's gone on this long, I'd call your vet

Hmm, well it seems a bit better today. I guess 'runny' was kind of the wrong word. Watery would be more like it. It was mostly urates with a few solid peices.

Do you think she should still see a vet?
Andie's Mom
Remember Tara, she just went through a few days out of the normal with having a bird sitter etc. So that could be some stress showing up. The fact that its more smelly than normal concerns me though since her diet hasn't changed.

You might try putting her on some ACV with the mother in it...and see if that helps...In the bowl her size maybe a quarter to 1/2 tsp. start with a quarter or less so she doesn't go off it.. And I'd call Luther or what ever vet you use and just talk to him about it.
