I started 100% pellets today, I had been reducing her seed intake for a few weeks so today she got roudybush and Zupreme fruity blend, I sprinkled thoose on top because I had a half a bag left, figured I might as well use it , I never seen her so lively and out spoken as she was today lol, I think she was complaining actually all day or screaming for her seeds , I felt kind of bad for her but I didnt give in, I did see her eating some pellets, she must have been hungry, but in 2 months I have never heard so much noise from her as I did today,Iam still waiting on her first word, she is 7 months old now , no words yet sad.gif

Be stern and remember you are doing it for them! Buzz is over a year old and still no words...We can wait together...

the one thing you definitely want to make sure of and that is that she is definitely eating. Some times it takes 2 or 3 times to do it. I only know this because of my experience with little chit, Gidget, my green cheek. She was not as easy to wean as Kiwi. Gidget would just not eat hardly at all, so I had to keep giving her seed and of course she ate it, but after the 3rd time of converting, I WON....LOL

Oh yes, she is definitly complaining to you. They sure have a way of telling you that they are not happy with you at all. After she has been on pellets for a few weeks treat her to a piece of millet, but only for a treat once in a while. Ask her if she wants some. My Simie will tell me "Simie wants some" but it took a good while of my asking if Simie wants some. Glad to hear you went with pellets, much better for baby.
