In my morning surfing I thought I would check out some pet insurance stuff that the SPCA had given me when I adopted my new buddy Storm...

OY!

The plans start as low as $11.95/month but that doesn't cover a whole lot... select accidents and illnesses to a maximum of $2000...

The most expensive plan covers unlimited accidents and illnesses to an unlimited amount... at $97 a month!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it's just because I'm a spoiled Canadian with subsidized health care, but eeeeep! That seems like a lot!

They don't offer health plans for birds... but if they did I'd hate to see how much that could get up to! Wowzers!

Sheesh. I'd just save up that $97/ month and probably you will have enough for any vet bill in less than a year, maybe two. dry.gif
