(Sorry, I don't mean to hijack this thread but I was just wondering about that Pet Stages toy to the left of Sioma, Casey has the same ladder but she likes to pick apart the softer, colourful spots on the rungs of the ladder, does Sioma do that? It scares me that she is going to swallow the soft plastic. Thanks!)

I purchased a perch that was similar to that and some of my birds (can't remember if it was the tiels or the Conures) put a huge hole in it. When I saw what was underneath, I chucked it out. it was rusty wiring on the inside. Click~Here and Here

I think if it is the same type of thing, you may want to get rid of it if Casey is chewing on it. For birds that don't chew on them, then they should be fine in the cage.

That's a cutie pie you have and all snuggly with his toys

He swings on the toy, and so far....surprisingly...doesn't chew on it. It was a gift...not one I would have gotten myself because he loves to shred stuff. I've kept an eye on him and for the most part....other than wobbling hugely.....and providing me with tons of entertainment watching him try to balance on it....he leaves it alone.
