Hello Everyone,

I just got a new (10 years old ) Amazon...(Mexican red headed) His name is Bacardi. I have had him for 5 days now. He is still a little stressed out, but doing fine. I think he may be hormonal..lol.fun...I was just wondering if anyone else with an amazon is experiencing this?
He puffs himself up and struts around the cage. Whines like a baby and shakes a bit. thanks gabbie

Hey, i have a amozon too. he,s about 5 years old and a great bird. nibbles is a blue front. nibbles will puff up but not makeing any funny noises. can you send pictures? i would love to see Bacardi.

I have a yellow nape, but he is still a baby (7mo). So I can't help you with the hormonal stage, sorry. But Fawkes does whine like a baby, its cute.

AWWWWWW what a pretty baby! you are so lucky!!! does he talk yet? do you have any more pictures?

He's not really talking yet. He makes the step-up sound( the syllables), but its not clear enough to say that he talks. But, boy does he make lots of sounds. I do have more pics, I have several in my photo album if you want to check them out.

I love that pic of Mr. Nibbles. He looks very cute.
