I have had a my Goffin Cockatoo for almost a month and half. His name is Rumor and he is 5 years old. He is amazing. I feed him a fresh mixture of veggies and beans and rice and sweet potatos eveyday twice a day. Just started eating this, this week he has been picky. Well anyway yesterday he had it all over his beak, so I took a paper towel to clean his beek and before I went to do it I say your beck is dirty you need to clean it and he took the paper towel from me and clean it him self with his food and beek, it was so funny. He did a good job too! Then he wanted to play tug a war with it. My husband didn't believe me so last night we fed him again and my husband watched as he cleaned his beek and he even go a good picture with his camera! SO I will have to post that one!

I like the name Rumour, how cute. I can't wait to see pictures of him cleaning his beak.....LOL

Sorry guys its been such a busy day and evening. we had to buy a new cage for one of our quakers because we seperated them. hopefully dave will get them up soon they are on his camera and he doesn't like me to miss with his camera you know guys and electronics!

We understand that "all hands off"....but will be waiting for pictures....

That beak wiping is certainly a new one on me....

how did it go last night did they flock call to each other alot or?

Pickles is so much happier! He isn't being plucked anymore. Kiwi is a little bully! lol! Their cages are side by side so they seem happy! I put all my birds on Roudybush yesterday and they are not eating it so I don't know what I should do?

They are so sweet~! I was looking into one of them at one time. They are the sweetest cockatoo's. Never know whats down the road at the zoo~!
