Hi all:

I am attaching the baby pictures from Cheri. She told me that she didn't think that she had my blue boy in this clutch. She is sending me a group pix of all the babies by Wednesday and I will forward them so everyone can see them. She has greens and split to blues, but she doesn't think that she has blues.

Sooooo, with a heavy heart, Skipper is not there, but that is okay. There may be still be a slim, very slim, chance depending on pin feathers that maybe one can be blue..not getting my hopes up.

They are growing like weeds and are just as cute as they can be. Right now, a green baby won't be right for me, since my Marley was green.

Enjoy, I know that everyone here loves the babies...I do for sure.

such cute little babies..........is there a chance that you might want to get a little green one? Just wondering. I can only imagine how difficult it would be.......

I am thinking about it but right now a green baby is just too soon for me. I see Marley in every green baby and I just can't at this point in time. Maybe eventually...but no time soon.

Don't get me wrong, I love them all and they are so cute, but the time isn't right for me yet.

Great news..just heard from Cheri and she said that her other QP parents are laying eggs and she usually always gets blues from them, for me not to give up because she will get a blue soon from "somebody" LOL

Maybe this just wasn't the right time....may still be the pround mom of a blue boy yet!!!

I just read your siggy and didn't realize you had adopted a bird from Katrina rescue..What kind of bird is it? That is too awesome... Do you live near here? I live in Pass Christian, MS...

When Joy died, green Quaker, I couldn't bring myself to get another quaker..either blue or Green...however, I miss her SO much..So, we got a CAG and I am very happy with her, but nothing is like the Quaker.....Don't get me wrong, I am SO glad we have Gabby...I just miss Joy SO much...it's been over 2 yrs since she passed..

awww so cute its hard to imagine that my green monster was that tiny at one time too!

I am sorry about your loss.
I rescued a parakeet, I named him Ki-Ki. We were living in key West then, but I was in MS for my friend's wedding..a day later Katrina hit and I couldn't get home for a week. Ki-Ki was abused, but I worked with him and now he is thiving. Still skittish around us, but is coming out of his cage from time to time.
He is so good and playful..I love him.

I have hope...maybe this better for me because it really gives me more time and I am dealing with my loss better every day.

I am happy just to be involved with the babies that are growing up at Cheri's.

Aww, sorry your Skipper wasn't in the fist clutch, but it sounds as he will be in the second clutch coming soon. Be patient - your Skipper will come to you soon.
