i have two baby kitties. I know I was supposed to get one from Brook but decided this was not the time for new pets.

Well then, I've been gone all last week. When I come home my children had found two adorable kitties but they are tiny. I don't know if they are weaned.

They eat soft cat food or canned but they don't know what to do with the dry. I never figured on having any this small so I need to know what to do. Can any of you help me out. I am going to take them to the vet next week maybe she can guess about thier age?

Hey Kathy, I found a kitten the other day to and I'm bottle feeeding him. I went to the feed store there in Lincoln and got Milk replacer for kittens it's by Esbilac and he has little bottle's there to and I got one of them and I have been feeding Simba every 2 1/2 to 3 hours a day and his so cute. Good luck with your new kittens.I'm really bonding with this kitten because he thinks I'm his mama.~!He'll fall asleep and when I move he starts to cry. I feel like a Mom on Mothers day~! HAHA~! I'm going to try to get some can food the vet said to try some Iams. But I smash some dry food up with water and he did'nt know what to do with it yet.Someone told me I could cook a egg for him but I did'nt get to ask the vet if that would be okay for his little belly~I might call and ask the vet tomorrow about the egg~!

thanks I'll try that tomorrow. I think our kittens are about the same size as yours. Maybe someone is just dumping them out. Some people. I'll post a picture of them soon.

Oh they are adorable! Good Luck. You might PM snugglebutt....she saved Squirt from a state that looked MUCH worse than your little ones....she might be able to give you some advice... They are just so cute, how could anyone just DUMP them???

I saw the pics. and they are sooooooo cute. They look like they could have Hymalayan in them or Rag-doll. I have a Hymalayon and have had a few in the past and they sure look like they could be.Where were they found?

Since they are eating soft foods I would get some kitten milk and mix it with kitten chow to soften it and have them eat that. That way they are still getting their milk but some solids too. I found one in my yard last summer only about 3 or 4 days old and started with kitten formula every couple hours and then went to the mix. But yours look old enough to be eating solids and not bottle fed.They sure are cuties!!

We live way out of town on a farm and a lot of people put dogs out here just to leave. I ask all the neighbors and they don't belong to anyone here. So I guess we will keep them. My next door neighbors found a litter of puppies a couple of months ago and raised them. Man I can't believe people have such little respect for animals.
