Also, it seems he was choking.... the other day... he kept opening his mouth wide like he was about to throw up. I didnt know what to do but to wait. He then, all the sudden he had what seemed to be a loogie coming out of his mouth. I couldnt belive such a little bird could have that much in his lil stomache!! It was about an inch long! I searched the entire cage area as of where the 'product' went..I know it fell benieth him but had NO luck finding it. I was curious what it was!! Any ideas? Also, yesterday, while i was petting him, he started what seems to be (not like the first time) but what i thought was maybe a pink seed stuck in his beak, and he never did spit it out.. and then today, he actually regergitated a small seed with pink stuff around it. I believe the pink was from one of his colored pieces of food (the red ones) and a 1/2 piece of sunflower seed. He shook his head after it came up and it landed on my hand. is he (or she???? ) trying to "Feed " me??? He likes his under belly scratched but then seems to get tired of me trying to pet him and then starts getting mildly agressive and trying to actually bite harder. I use the 'push up on his beak method" and he seems to think this is a fun game and continues. Any ideas? My last question is also when he is trying to nudge me or put his head in my hand, he does the little quake movement. Why? I know, lots of questions, sorry (; Thanks again in advance! (:

It sounds as though he's regurgitating for you...which is a very high compliment...disgusting to us but none the less a compliment in his mind

Start paying attention as to when and where he does it. Its not something that I would encourage him to continue doing...So if he does it after you've petted him in a certain area...I would avoid petting him there for a while...

When my birds decide they want to show their affection to me, I always say...Thank you so much...but no Gacking... They seem to figure out what my term "gacking" means and then don't offer to do it for me...But I have one bird who will gack for her favorite toy...

I don't see any harm in that as long as it doesn't become excessive.
