Definatly unique. But doesnt look too serviceable to me. Careful of the extra scrolling for design. birds have been known to get their toes hung up in them. Not very easy to hang toys. I prefer flat tops myself. Toys stay spaced out better. Do the feed doors open from the outside. ive never seen a cage like that before. I wouldnt buy it but thats just my opinion. Everyone has diff taste but keep the birds safety in mind. How easy wouldnt it be to clean?

While I think its an interesting cage I see some problems with it for a quaker or any small footed bird... All the little angles and corners in the design work are toe catchers...and they can lose a toe quite easily by getting them caught they can also break legs from having a toe get caught or pull muscles etc. So I think I myself would steer clear of that cage...

If you'll notice the majority of those bars are horizontal, which in most cases is a good thing because it allows them to have better climbing, But in my opinion they need to have vertical bars as well so they can practice sliding down and climbing up using other skills. If you like the looks of it because its domed top there are lots of cages out there that have have the vertical as well as horizontal bars out there... If you like it because of the Ornate wire work...as I said those things can really lead to injury.

I hope I'm not coming off too negative. But we had a cage that was very similar where one of the Quakers got its toe caught and no one was home at the time, I came in and heard it fluttering and squawking like it was in trouble and sure enough...down in the corner of one of the decorative portions he'd gotten his toe lodged in there and I really had to work hard to get it out without really damaging his toe...So that cage was tossed.

Good luck on your cage hunting...and Congratulations on your new baby blue!

I cannot really help you with this because Morgan does not use a cage anymore (he through his to the curb). He sleeps and plays in dog kennels.

Also remember birds like to hide. Corners give them someplace to hide. I'd go with a flat top square cage. That way you can build your own play gym on top.

Can't add anything more about the cage...so I just want to say congrats on your upcoming QP!!

Congratulations!! I remember when I received my QP Rocky about 7 years ago. I am also looking for a new cage, my QP unfortunately fell to metal poisioning last wednesday and the Avian vet claims it was the cage I was keeping him in. I am in search for a stainless steel cage. I am doing a lot more research now and seeking opinions from this community to assist me as well. Good luck with your search.
