Boy have you come to the right people! I'm not one of them unfortunately. I have fewer parrots than you and find myself completely overwhelmed as it is some days.

Fortunately this forum has many other members with a variety of bird family members! They'll be along soon. I just saw your e-mail and wanted to congratulate you on your choice of birds. Sounds like you have some nice fids already.

Perhaps another budgie? I hear that they get long splendidly. (I only have one, though, so no personal advice).

So are you wanting smaller or larger, nearly the same size etc? Small conures would get along with what you have, but can be pretty screechy at times. What price range are you looking at?

I'm a big fan of the Poicephalus group of parrots. This group consists of Meyer's, Senegals, Jardine's, Red Bellied, Brown Headed and the Cape Parrot (which is really hard to find!). They are an awesome group of parrots and each species ranges in personality (my personal favorite is the Red Bellied, they are BIG clowns

).

If you don't care about having a variety, I'd suggest another QP....
If you like a little variety, I'd suggest a Blue Crown Conure. I can't imagine there are bigger goofballs out there! And SO sweet and lovable, too!

If your looking for one that has a great talking ability...Blue Crown Conures are wonderful...very sweet, intelligent birds, I have one and she's a very nice bird. If you don't really care about talking ability, Pionus are nice birds as well and some do learn to talk quite well. They are a quieter bird ranging from about the size of the Senegal up to a small Amazon. All the pionus I'm been around are very nice birds...My favorite is the Blue headed because its a little bit bigger and BEAUTIFUL!
And for just a little more money you could also get a caique..They are hilarious birds...not big talkers but they make up for that in personality...some do learn to talk a little .
I don't know if other multiple same species owners have found this but I just found that by having 2 quakers, the noise level in my house has increased major big time...whether its just this new addition or what...I don't know, but its definitely more noisy.

I can't wait for the day I begin to add more Feathered Kids to the family!!

There is no doubt in my mind an Eclectus and/or Lilac Crowned Amazon is calling my name!!!!
