Magic is a year and three months old he acts like he's healthy and is eating and drinking normally. Any ideas?

Since he is over a year old, it sounds like he is content and happy; that is if his head is bobbing up and down....
Harley is 3 1/2 years old and when he is happy and all is well, he will bob up and down and let out a whistle like sound.....
It doesn't sound like anything is wrong, but again, with what you are saying it is hard to determine....Just watch him and see how often he does it and maybe someone else can enlighten the picture for you soon....
Hang in there....

He Seems to be doing fine. I think i may take him to the vet just to be on the safe side.

Could he just be regurgitating to show his affection for you? Is it an up and down bobbing with his mouth kind of open?

Take him to the vet. My new QP is going to start visits as soon as she is a little older. My other QP died not to long ago, maybe from something a vet would have picked uo on. Also, I work in healthcare and realize a long distance diagnosis, even from an Aian vet, is essentially worthless. You have to see a patient to make a definitive diagnosis. JMHO.

What did your bird die from? Magic what kind of bobbing is it? It could be playful bobbing. I dont recommend going to the vet for every little thing.

My Quaker does that kind of shaking, bobbing, quaking head thing whenever he is excited or begging for food

But if you are worried, than taking him to the vet would be a good idea. Hope nothing is seriously wrong!
