Carrie~Anne

This little girl just went to her new home today.

Piper's new mommy (actually daddy as she will be owned by a very responsible 12 year old boy), came and picked her up today.

I went over to their place and helped them set up the cage in the best area, then went over some basics, gave them my Care Booklet, two weeks worth of pellets, some seed and treats and a couple of Piper's favorite toys.

*sigh* Piper is one of Buddy and Tweetie's last babies. She's been with me for almost a year (her hatchday is tomorrow) and she's been a great tiel!!!

It is awesome to see her go to a great home, but it always tugs on your heart a little bit wub.gif

It can be rather bittersweet at times can't it. Congratulations of finding a good home for her. And Big Hugs too cuz I know there's a little sadness there too!

Carrie, she's beautiful! I think she will be happy in her new home. Hopefully, you won't miss her too much.

Hugs,
Angela

That's the other downside of being a breeder.... sad.gif Sometimes it just breaks your heart to give a baby up for adoption. Especially after all the feedings and cuddlings you give them.

Big Hugs Carrie.

At least you know she has a good home. Some of these young people can be pretty amazing. Case in point is our own Ben (Gizmo#1). I'd rather see a bird in his care than a lot of "grownups" I know.

Carrie Anne, I'm really impressed with how thorough you are with the new parronts!!

Thanks for all the hugs, guys smile.gif It is amazing how big of a difference one little birdie makes!!! All the others know someone left and they have been unusually quiet...which of course makes it a wee bit more difficult on me.

But, I know she's gone to a great home and, with all my birds that leave, if anything should not work out, she'll always have a home at my place.
