No pictures...sorry!! tongue.gif

Last week I took the linnies into the vet to make sure that they were all healthy. I got the phone call this morning that they are indeed healthy little birdies!! Nothing wrong with 'em smile.gif So I am quite happy with that.

Comolie, the male, has been chatting up a storm!!! I have to email the lady I got them from because she didn't mention that Comolie was a talker, so maybe she didn't know (the birds were kept in a separate building)? Anyways, he says 'good bird, hi baby' and lots of other stuff. We're still trying to figure out what exactly his vocabulary is because some things he says loud and clear as day and other stuff he's quiet and mumbling.

I gave them both a spray bath yesterday and Nellie ran like the wind laugh.gif She did NOT like it, but Comolie tipped upside down, fluffed up his feathers and spread his wings! He even gave me heck when I stopped spraying cause my hands were getting sore.

So all in all, they are doing wonderful. They are super friendly and have no issues with spending time with us. No biting going on at all. Comolie is iffy with hands. He isn't crazy about them, but we're slowly working on that.

One thing I have to do is clip their wings and nails. They are superb fliers!!

So there ya have it. I'll try and post some pictures of them over the next week or so.

Yep, I did!! I purchased it just before I brought the Linnies home. Actually, a few of the people they quote I know through various email/message boards. smile.gif

It's a great article and really gives insight into the Lineolated Parakeet.

I can't imagine how tiny they must be wub.gif

How do they to the overall noise level?
Carrie~Anne
Actually Becky, they don't add much more noise. They do a lot of giggling type noises. They are WAY quieter than my Cockatiels, and Conures. They are even quieter than any Budgie that I have heard.

They do usually make a constant noise, but it is really quiet. It is so hard to explain. They definitely never get really loud (again, no where near as loud as my tiels, who are relatively quiet). I'll try to get a video and some more pictures.
