Sidney started talking today. He has always said step, hello and whistled.

BUT today he was saying Mama, Love you, Good boy, Sidney, and something eles I couldn't figure out.

So Andie what eles does he say. It was so funny cause I was talking to him today and I was saying "Mama loves you." and then he started Mama Mama Mama. Then I said love you and he repeated it. Well I left the room and Hubby goes over to Sids cage and said love you and Sidney jumped at him and screamed. I was like its because he only loves me.

Sounds like he's really coming out of his shell, Kathy!!

awww so cute kathy mine is talking alot more than I expected her too as well. Its good for my husbands ego as the bird calls him 'dad' lol and it makes my man want to be more nuturing with her so its all good.
mine cant whistle. she tries but its really ummm I hate to say it about a beautiful bird but its AWFUL!!!

Oh Kathy, that's great news....All I remember him saying is HI SID NEE in a higher pitched voice...and he would attempt "Up" Andie may know more but that's all I know...

He really didn't say much, he was just starting to really talk when I sent him to you. He didn't hardly make a peep when I first got him and he was on the thorezene. And what he did attempt later on was really hard to understand. I'm so happy he is starting to really blossom for you and the family!!! Thank you so much for the updates.

You know what? Sidney was on my arm today and he stepped up for hubby. He actually stepped up off of my arm to hubby. You should have heard hubby he was like Hahaha he likes me now.
