Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I do not have a "fid" as of yet, but I found a great local exotic bird store and as soon as I finish constructing my bird room (almost 100% bird safety approved) , I will be bringing a little featherball home. As soon as I laid eyes on the little Quaker parrots I fell in love.

I'm sure I will have a million questions for all of you as soon as the little guy arrives(actually I already have some), so thanks in advance biggrin.gif Everyone here seems really friendly and I'm glad to have found you all. Cheers!

Hi Chris

Welcome to the forum. I love the fact that you are getting everything ready for your bird in advance.

Most of my birds are rescues, and have come in small, filthy cages, and therefore had to wait a few days to get their new cage.

My next bird, a male Alexandrine, will have everything ready before he comes home. It'll be a while, since we're still waiting for the egg to be laid. I will probably get him around November. wub.gif
