Well i have three of them and each one has a different "parrotality", So i was wondering if your parrot fits his/her name.

Paulie -is definetly an Italian Bird (and name)..lol and it fits him too considering he's a tough bird and always asking the famed "Whatcha' doin' " He loves anything italian especially the food (of course Quaker parrot approved food)

Kai-the hawaiian blue as my best friend Mark named him - the name fits him well he has his calm moments when he's all mellow and then there those sudden times when he's hitting up major waves flapping his wings and sqwauking to his little hearts content.

Well the name Nikki means "Victorious People". So I guess her name fits her well because she is very Victorious in her way. She is definitely a world conquerer.

Sunny definitely fits her name becuase she is brightly colored and pretty happy.

I mean my quaker came to me with the name petey and I used to call him peters weiners after a hot dog brand so now he calls himself peters weiners and my sun's name is sunshine which is sort of a lame name for a male but thats the name he came with too then my U2's name is abigail we call her abby for short and maybe her name fits as she is such a pretty girl and graceful like a lady.

I have a newfoundland named guinness who is black...stout..and makes me happy and a snobby lab named bentley

Morgans name would fit him if it was "Evil little green piggy bird".

Well I dunno if this fits my birds personality. but here we go.

My Quakers name is Limestone. His name comes from many places.

1. Definition-Birdlime- means to catch or capture. I picked lime for two reasons. One is because he is lime in color, and two because he captured my heart when I met him at the breeder.

2. Stone- because most stones are grey like his chest. Limestone is a grey rock in color.

Hence I came up with Limestone.

i honestly don't know how i came up with Cricket's name...

but he is a cute little bug!

Puppy -QP- Fits him I guess... he's cute and smart like a puppy and does some neat tricks, but the name is more sarcastic. Puppy is more like a pit bull.

Nibbler -QP- Named after the dark matter pooping alien in the TV cartoon Futurama. Sweet and cute like that character...and he does nibble. His name was Kiwi before I got him..but no way was I going to contribute the the overabundance of green birds named Kiwi, so that had to change.

Poco -Cherry Head Conure- Came with his name and was old enough that changing it would bother him. Poco means small in Spanish and compared to the macaws that he lived with in his first home he was indeed small.

Isis -Dusky Lory- Named after an Egyptian goddess. YES her name fits her. Isis is the queen of the house and the most spoiled. She's my husband's bird and I can't even touch her if he is home.

Goblin -white face cockatiel- He sort of is a nasty little goblin. I bought him because of how charming and cuddly he was..WAS.. now he's mean to me but loves my husband.

Aten -Male frosted and variegated yellow American Singer Canary- A shortly worshiped Egyptian sun god. He's got a lot of yellow and he rules the heck out of me..so yeah it fits. Aten is the only bird I have that will actively pout if he is unhappy about something. If I so much as change where his food dish is he will sit at the bottom of the cage with his feathers fluffed up, scarring the heck out of me, just pouting. I've taken him to the vet about this before because when he pouts he makes it look like he is sick, because he knows that's a sure fire way to get me to notice. Little bugger has me played like a violin.

Mars -Red Mahogany Canary- Aten's wife. She's red and feisty, so her name does fit her.

Gyre and Gimble -Male and female Zebra Finches- Named for part of the poem, "The Jabberwocky," ..."and gyre and gimble in the wabe," Sounded good to me, but I don't know that it fits their personalities really..maybe it does..*shrug*

Cheerio -European Starling- Can't sink him! He's always in his bath bowl lol. And he's always very cheery.

Monet -European Starling- She's very delicate and artsy.. her name TOTALLY fits her.

LMBO!! May I use that one for Frankie, too??

Frankie's name fits him well, I believe. He is a rough and tumble sort of birdie, and he did come to us with that name already. I believe they first named him Franklin, and then shortened it to Frankie because sometimes he says, "I am Franklin!"

Isabelle's name fits her too a tee ... she is dainty and delicate, sweet and petite. She came with her name, too.

Kit and Skye (blue masked lovies) seem to have names that fit, too. Kit is the mischevious one and Skye is bashful and is the perfect color of the sky.

So, everyone else did a great job in naming my fids before I received them!

I love it! I think I got lucky with Buttons considering I didn't know her propensity to chew on my shirt buttons until AFTER I'd named her. I wouldn't change Cooper's name for the world but I don't know if it "fits" him. I'll need to look it up and see what it means.

Well Cheeky my green QP is rather cheeky I guess calling hisself and us big banannas.

My Sun shes Cherub and a dear sweet bird a bit timid when she came to us thus the name Cherub.

Boo boo is my big fluffy black cat. My hub didnt want her to come live with us so she is a boo boo lol! Naah but my daughter named her and now my hub does love her.

YES~! Meeka fits my little greenpants all the way~!!

My African grey her name is Pita and I love her name so much~! And yes it fits her as well~!

Max - fits her to a T. Even though it's a boy's name, she definitely has a sort of 'max' personality.

Tango - I named her that because she was always dancing across her perch when we first got her...and she still does!!

Lokie - Probably my best named birds. Loki is the Norse God of Mischief and that fits my little beauty perfectly. Man, can she get into a LOT of trouble!!

Talos - from Greek mythology..again, very aptly named

Nadian - Was suppose to be Nadaya...but turned out he was a boy

Chi Chi - One of my kids came up with that name...same with her broader mate - Lo Lee

All the others had names when they came to me and I didn't have the heart to change them

hmmm.. not sure how I came up with "Mollie", I guess I just thought it sounded like a good name for a QP.
The dachshunds are...Ringo, Rylee, J.J., Bosco and Gracie

Lokie is also a Hawaiian name: It means Rose..lol

I have a cat named Loki and a cat named Cthulhu. Both very very aptly named.

Hemingway- a big name for such a little squat, inquisitive fellow. But somehow fits him anyway.

We are starting to wonder about our grey baby (almost weaned!)- we have chosen the name Bentley but he is looking like quite a dainty little GIRL lately-- oh well! We liked Bentley because hubby & son like cars- and it's a pretty cool car and name for a cool gray bird!
